Longterm UX Model: General Overview of a Digital Usage Lifecycle

The goal of user experience is to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty through optimal usability in connection with various emotional and aesthetic factors. In the industry, the main focus is on the beginning of a user experience. The product should offer a new added value, stand out from the market, be particularly effective or easy, and comfortable to use.

Ever emerging pattern libraries and design systems become the standard in the industry and raise bar for minimal acceptable usability. With these interaction patterns are being integrated more and more effectively and universally, it becomes harder to stand out.

In order not to lose the user's interest over longer periods of time and to ensure a unique position of products, it is necessary to think beyond short-term and initiative user experience.

For a longer-term view, effective data analysis can identify opportunities to further tailor products to individual users, optimize content, and create more meaningful & memorable moments with digital products.
